    Hello,  Can you help us? The Pack has two upcoming recruiting events, and we need your assistance to make these events successful.  First, we need help with lunch talks at the schools.  During these lunch talks, we walk around the cafeteria, stopping at each table to share the fun and exciting things we do in Scouting.  Our goal is to capture the interest of the kids, and make sure they know we are having a meeting that same night where they can bring their parents/guardians and join the program. In order to participate in the School Lunch talks, the schools require you to have a completed background check through the VIPS system. Log in to VIPS – Volunteers In Public Schools to complete your background check.  School lunches begin at 10:45 a.m. and end at 1:15 p.m.  Please plan to arrive by 10:30 so we can do a short training with you about the lunch talks.  We know many of you work during these hours, but we would appreciate any time that you could offer us.  Second, we need help at the Rally that night. We need parents, leaders, and Scouts to attend.  We will play games with the kids, and share with the prospective parents what the Scouting program provides their child and family.  Scouts, please wear your field uniform. Come join us for an afternoon of outdoor adventure with other new Tiger and Lion Cubs and their parent partners. This is a wonderful activity for Dens or just a Tiger, Lion and parent. So come join the fun and ROAR with the rest of the Tiger and Lion Cubs.  Games, crafts, outdoor challenges, bounce houses, slide, reptile shows, climbing, shooting sports and more!  The adventure begins at 1:00 pm and continues until 5:00 pm.     Fall Festival & Haunted Hayrides 2019 @ Sid Richardson Scout Ranch

    Family Fun for your entire Pack at SR2 & Camp Tahuaya. Join the Fall Festival staff for a Hot Dog supper, Festival Games, bounce houses, and cool Haunted Hayrides, PLUS BB Guns, Archery, and Pumpkin carving. It’s a family event with lots of fun activities!  Huge New haunted sets, Ghosts from the great beyond, Alien Invaders, Space Wars characters, T-Rex, and much more.  Scary FUN lies in wait around every corner!!!. Click here for the Fall Festival information page. Check-In:  Check-in begins at 12 noon on Saturday. SR2 Check-in is at the Buchanan Springs Activity Building (follow signs). Camp Tahuaya Check-in is conducted in the Camp Office. Activities: 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Supper: 5:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m..   Meal times are usually assigned; please honor your designated meal time Hayride: Starts at dark. Hayrides are approximately 20 minutes in duration. Each group will be assigned a departure time. Please honor your assigned departure time. We can accommodate 50 to 100 riders at each assigned departure time.  To help accommodate as many guests as possible, please board and exit trailers as quickly and as safely possible from the rear of the trailer. Be sure to follow instructions from tractor drivers. Sunday Breakfast:  8:00-9:00 a.m. Continental breakfast. Chapel:  a nondenominational service at 9:00 a.m. Departure: Everyone should police each campsite before leaving.  Remember that a scout is clean and always leaves a campsite cleaner than when they found it.  Trash must be packed out.  Camp closes at 11:30, if you plan to stay longer, you must clear this with the staff and the Ranger.
